Discover Barcelona’s Gothic Quarter, the cosmopolitan and colourful Raval district and the stunning Montjuic, home to the 1992 Olympic Games before returning home via the Mediterranean Sea
After leaving our shop by the Santa Caterina market, the tour starts in the heart of Barcelona, first passing through the trendy El Born area before heading to the Gothic Quarter and the Plaza de la Merce.
You then turn inland and drive through the cosmopolitan Ravel district with its bustling bars and shops. After seeing the ultra modern MACBA building you will next arrive at the top of the most famous street in Barcelona, Las Ramblas.
Take in the atmosphere of this truly unique place as you drive past the Boqueria Market, Liceu Opera House and the living statues entertaining the tourists.
From here, we retrace our earlier path to the Ravel but take a little short cut passing by the oldest church in Barcelona, St Pau del Camp, before climbing up out of the narrow streets of Poble Sec and onto the stunning Montjuic.
This part of the tour, high on the hill overlooking Barcelona takes you past some of the most iconic attractions in the city. As you climb, you will see Plaza Espanya and Poble Espanyol, have chance to stop at the impressive MNAC museum to enjoy the spectacular views across the city and pass by the Olympic Stadium and Miro Foundation.
You then drive through a tunnel as you drop back down towards the Christopher Columbus Monument and the final section of the tour.
Following the water’s edge through the Port Vell and Barceloneta districts you will finally arrive at the Mediterranean Sea. After enjoying the sea breeze on your face and perhaps a quick ice-cream at the Olympic Port you turn back towards the centre along Via Laietana to our GoCar Shop.
